Funeral Ministry

Those involved in this ministry, provide welcoming and solace to the family in their time of need through prayer and a meal. During the liturgy individuals assist the presider in roles such as extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, sacristans, servers and ushers. Training will be provided. Volunteers are also available to prepare the funeral meal and the hall following the liturgy. This time allows the family and friends to gather and remember the individual. They serve attendees and assist throughout the meal and clean up. There is also a need for covered dishes/desserts to be donated and dropped off at McKeeler Hall.
