First Holy Communion

Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion include Child/Parent sessions, service, and Jesus Day, a retreat day for children and parents before First Communion. In order to begin the Sacramental Preparation process for First Communion, a child must:

• be baptized (If your child has not been baptized, please contact Terri Bullock. Contact information below.)
• be in the 2nd grade or older
• attend our PSR program or attend a Catholic school
• be enrolled in our Sacramental Preparation program for First Reconciliation (Confession) and First Holy Communion

Children will prepare for and must make their First Reconciliation before receiving their First Holy Communion.

Reconciliation Preparation sessions will be once a month October through December, culminating in the celebration of First Reconciliation in December.

Preparation sessions for First Holy Communion will be once a month January through April culminating in the celebration of First Holy Communion the first weekend in May. 2023-2024 First Communion Session Dates
